America's Heroes Rescuing America's Icon, giving a second chance to human and horse.

Warrior Ranch Foundation envisions a world where veterans and rehabilitated horses realize their productive future in society.

Join Us for an Inspiring Evening of Healing and Hope

On the evening of May 22, 2025, Warrior Films proudly presents the premiere of Warrior: A Battle Against Trauma, Learning to Love and Trust Again at The Suffolk Theater in Riverhead, New York — a powerful documentary aimed at raising public awareness as well as raising funds for the Warrior Ranch Foundation.
In partnership with Warrior Films, we’re shining a light on the invisible wounds carried by those who’ve served and the profound role horses play in guiding them toward healing. These majestic animals become more than companions — they become beacons of hope at the end of a dark tunnel.
Your support helps us reach more veterans, first responders, and horses in need. Whether through attending this unforgettable event or making a donation, every act of kindness makes a difference. Our warriors fought for us — now it’s our turn to fight for them.

Suffolk County PBA PEER Team Announces

Warrior Ranch is its Preferred Facility for Equine-Assisted Services

Miguel Vias, Co-Chair of the Suffolk PBA PEER team, says, “The Suffolk County PBA PEER team is committed to continually enhancing the mental health resources available to our members and their families. Our partnership with Warrior Ranch Foundation has proven invaluable in this regard. They have been a steadfast advocate and a remarkable addition to our PEER team resources, already providing significant support to numerous members and their families.”

“Our men and women in blue serve and protect us every day. The Ranch is a place for them to find peace from their everyday stressors. We are proud to serve them in return.”  says Eileen Shanahan, founder and president of Warrior Ranch Foundation.

Due to Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD),  22 veterans die by suicide every day.

Due to neglect or retirement from race or show careers, there are over 100,000 unwanted horses.

Equine assisted therapy has been proven to reduce symptoms of PTSD.

Through horse interaction, Warrior Ranch provides a safe haven of healing and well being for veterans, first responders and horses.
